72 GMC 1/2 T Front a arms..?

I was at the junk yard today stripping down a 72 GMC Super and noticed that the front a arms are completely different than my Chevy. Everything looked to be stock but you never know. The crossmember looked the same. Anybody know anything about the difference? Is one better than the other. I'd have to say just looking at it that it appeared to be a heavier duty
Going back on Tuesday to get some more stuff and I think I'll take some pics of it. Might ask how much also even though I don't need it...

the ones on my 69 GMC are the same as every other truck I've seen...was this a 3/4 ton you were looking at, or a 1/2 ton?

It was a half ton. I got the rear out of it a while back. 5 lug 12 bolt rear. The front looked really different. Can't describe it but I'm going to take pics.

The bump stops are different between the 67-70 and the 71-72s. The 71-72s will turn sharper. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
