March performance pulley kit - V-Belt to Serpentine under $600.00
I am building a 383 stroker for my 1966 Fleetside shortbed and I really wanted to convert it over to serpentine best drive, but damn, the costs for the items is unreal! Everything was $1200.00 and up, and so i was looking for the junk yard conversion, but i hate the look, so i just kept looking and i stumbled onto March Performance site where they have a Small Block Chevy, long water pump with Alt and AC conversion bracket setup for under $600.00, and i jumped all over it. I installed it this past weekend and damn, that is a fine setup. I got the all black setup, bought a new black alt. and will be getting a black AC Compressor later on, but so far, the system is damn nice. There is a video on Youtube, March Performance small block and big block long water pump mid-mount AC kit. If anyone is looking to convert, this is bar far the cheapest and easiest i have found that is not junk yard gathered.

Sounds like your happy.
I like the Alan Grove brackets. The three brackets is maybe $300 for short water pump which is made for our trucks. I'm planning the fan shroud and a fan clutch set up for mine.

Great to hear! I cobbled together a March system for my Pontiac. I had to machine some new spacers since I went with a crank trigger for my ignition.

VIN63 - I like the setup and it does not really look like you cobbled it together. I like their stuff.
The RocknRod - I never heard of that company, so i went and looked, great prices. Captainfab - I looked at CVF Racing but i just did not like how the AC is shown on the drivers side and way up high, other than that, good prices. |
