3800Longbed Build-part name
I think it is a "rocker panel"? This is a long bed and I want to replace this part on both sides. Cant find good no rust or reproduction parts. I'd be ok rebuilding them if I had a photo for reference on the drivers panel that was cut for clearence. Any help out there?
I'm also looking for the clip that goes on end of brake/clutch pedal shaft. |

Re: 3800Longbed Build-part name
those are called aprons, and with your extra long bed it might be a tough item to get. might buy two sets of short ones and weld them the right length.
that 9 ft stuff is crazy hard to find. I am reminded of a guy looking for one of those 9ft beds. I found him one, $350 no fenders. he told me without fenders he was only willing to spend $100. I chuckled and another guy bought it for $800. its been 4 years, he is still looking for a 9 ft bed. called me several times to get the guys number that bought it so he could make an offer. if it were me I would have just built one from two beds.
