Sm420/T221 coupler cover?
Hey guys, I'm hoping someone out there has experience with the '67 specific SM420/T221 combo.
I'm in the process of rebuilding mine, and have the transmission done and the coupler housing on. It seems the coupler housing should have a cover in it... But I don't have it, and looking back at my disassembly pics, it seems it was never there. Would it have ever had one? Does anyone have a pic if it did? My Google-Fu hasn't found anything that shows it, you can barely find this piece!

Yes it has a cover. Just sheet metal. You can probably just cut one out if you trace it out.
