Rust removal real or bs

From what I have read, laser rust removal is real technology but costing in the five figures.

Site below claims device for $149. Picture shows big machine but demo videos look like handheld. Hope link works preview doesn't show complete link.

Have seen this in the past, do not know if it is an accepted practice of the industry yet.

149 bucks is cheap, cheap can be chinwa, know what I mean.

I consider that to remove surface rust if it does indeed work like the video. The only true rust removal is to cut out and replace.

IF this really works and it's that affordable...wouldn't we be seeing them for sale at our favorite sites like Summit, Eastwood, and the harbor freights? I'm skeptical. If it does work...How many hours have I wasted with sandblasters, acids, wire wheels, cutoff wheels and welders? whew!

That has to be a scam at that price. If you research this a bit most low power units are like 10 grand and up as you get more powerful.

Like everything in life, if it is too cheap its usually a scam....

The "shop" in the link has been closed down already as a scam site....

Be safe everyone

We could start a pool. Everyone through in 10 bucks. Put everyone on a list and use the product for a while and write a review.

I do know this, the expensive ones in youboob shows they work. You still have the pitting to deal with in heavy cast parts.
