1969 GMC dog dish hubcaps pic?

Anyone have a pic of what the original 1969 1/2 ton GMC hubcaps were supposed to look like? I'm hammering out my OEM ones and my grandpa doesn't remember what they looked like as far as paint, etc.

This is what I found, which matches the mold, but I have no idea which paint scheme is correct.

Is this one correct?

If so, were the wheels painted white also?

Found some red and black paint under silver paint on one of them.
Maybe it's this one... and not white at all.
FWIW the truck is Maroon Poly paint.

If the hubcaps are painted, for 69 they were silver and black with orange letters.
If chrome, they were black centers and orange letters.
Check this website for good pictures and info:

Re: 1969 GMC dog dish hubcaps pic?

Nice, thanks, that helps.

After some careful sanding I found one hubcap has white, black and red, which was sprayed over with silver at some point. The others have no paint. That leads me to believe the painted one is not the original hubcap.

It is a 1969 model, sold in 1968. Could be the Argent Silver or chrome one.
Options from the glove box:
V37 chrome bumpers
947 15x5.5 wheel

I'm checking with the dealer that sold the truck, but that's a long shot. So unless my grandparents can agree on which one it is (they don't) or find an old color pic, I'll just pick whatever paint scheme I like, considering they were all optional.

Yes i can't imagine the maroon truck coming with white wheels. Thanks for the replies and advice. No way I can get these into a chrome-able state, so argent silver it is.
The dealer, even thought its family owned, has no info that far back.
