side marker lights

The side marker lights in my 1971 C20 when on turn signal blink only in the front, my 1970 GMC don't blink at all, front or back. The wiring diagram I have doesn't have marker lights on it.What is correct? Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: side marker lights

Both are correct. The blinking side marker started in 71.

If you are interested, rear markers never flashed from the factory.

Re: side marker lights

When you do the rear something weird happens, i think it has something to do with back feeding through the brake lights or something similar. That's why the factory only did the front. The brake lamp cancels on the side you are turning, but if you have the turn signal flashing on the side marker?? I forget....I tried it years ago. Didn't work out right.

EDIT, something else is when you step on the brake, being the same filiment at the turn sig, the side marker being already lit up by the driving lamps. Like I said it got weird when I tried it
