IL 1975 ish 250 chevy integrated head inline six $150

Hello,

Maybe someone has need or interest in my chevy 250 integrated head inline 6. I am swapping to a 68 230, so this will get pulled before too much longer. I had it running but it would not idle off of half choke. I did not rebuild the carb but cleaned it out and readjusted the idle mixture screw the PO had cut open but still wasnt happy. accelerator pump seal is now junk, and like I said the varajet needs rebuilt.

exhaust manifold has lots of spiderweb cracks. I could not find any visual cracks in the integrated intake manifold, but I have not removed the valve cover. It leaks oil from the rear side cover. It had good oil pressure (3/4 of the gauge which I think is 45 psi) and 20 inches of vacuum, so I think it's a solid engine. I did notice a bit of valve tick.

not trying to make money here, just want something for it and not to have to scrap it. $150 OBO. fresh oil and oil filter. includes original air cleaner and everything on the engine (fuel pump, alternator, fan, etc.

Wouldn’t a ‘68 also be a 250?

by code the 68 is 3921967 which is listed as a 64-69 230. looks original but could have been swapped. Bottom line is it's running and complete and has the monojet and separate head.

Interesting, I thought they were done by ‘66. I wonder what the xtra engine I have from a ‘67 actually is. Thanks!
