Paint match 72

https://www.paintscratch.com/cgi-bin/select-color.cgi

I tried this site last week. The dark green looks like my truck, but I know it should be dark olive. Their dark olive looks nothing like mine in the example. I ordered the dark green and its not that close. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Not trying to paint the whole truck, but I would like to touch up a few areas for now.

I ordered dark olive from paint scratch for some interior points. I am happy with it. I ordered the aerosol can size. My purchase was just last month

That paint scratch site is lame. I've seen people recommend it but this was my first visit. Use Autocolorlibrary.com for a true reference for actual factory color chips. What you used was 505 Woodland Green/Dark Green and you need Dark Olive Poly

Re: Paint match 72

Thanks guys! I went by their paint samples. I realize it should be dark olive, but their sample look nothing like my color. Can someone verify the dark olive actually matches my truck? The sample looks way off.

I thought I was verifying the color. Screw those samples. You'd be better off being shown nothing, apparently. Go by the code, even the name, and never go by the chip. If you look at actual paint chips by actual paint suppliers then the chips are good, or close, such as shown by not solo. The print process and monitors can make the shade vary. Go to www.autocolorlibrary.com for your best paint reference
