rim ?

On these 15 x10 wheels I have, they have 4" of BS. Am I gonna run into problems putting these on? I have been told that I should run a 28 X 12.5 ET street on these. Is this tire gonna rub? Or is this gonna be a trial and error issue? I have about a 6" drop in the back.

they will probly rub your the outside of your rear fender because of your 6 inch drop. if it was stock height they would fit fine.

You'd probably still be ok with 5½" BS

thats the problem. there might be a short and not so wide tire that you could put on there that would make it work, but really the rims are just the wrong size. the only way your gonna figure out what will work on those rims ia some careful measuring or guess and check which could get expensive since you have the wheels already try putting one on there with no tire on it, have the whole rear end jacked up by the axle so the wheels are still the same in relation to the fenders as they would be with the truck on the ground. then just look at the wheel on there and take some measurements and see what might fit and how close its going to be. honestly though i don't think you'll have much luck with those wheels, even if you put the shorter tires on there when you launch and the truck hooks up its going to squat the rear and if those tires are outside the fenders ya might hit them

You can still run a 15x10, you just need the correct back spacing, i think to run a 10 out back it would be 5" im running a 20x10 out back with a 6 inch backspacing and it tucks alot..

Stock, the wheels stick out 1" farther up front than they do at the back. When you drop it with springs, it pushes it out even further because of all the shims that needs to be used to get the camber back right.

Anyway, with a 10" wheel, you would need 6" of back spacing in order to be the same as stock. So, you can figure our stock 8" wheels came with 4 and if you use a 10 wheel with 4, you are going to sticking out 2" further than stock.

I think I would go with a 10" wheel but with 5" of back spacing. But if you have some tires mounted on 8" wheels, measure how much room you have left at the fender. Then add 2" to this to see where it is at.

That's the problem, the wheels I have I bought from a clearance sale at Summit for $40 (total). I 'm gonna see if I can return them and get some 8" wheels. Cause I am not raising the rear end back up.
