Anyone Have a Pic of How The Headlight Adjuster Spring Is Supposed To Sit on a 69 C10. Thanks

Did you get new hardware for the light assembly? Looks like new screws and springs. If so, where from?

Thanks!

I did buy new hardware. Most of what vendors were selling did not match my originals. I'm not 100% sure what I ended up buying, but I THINK it was for a '67 Camaro. If I recall correctly the nylon inserts didn't fit quite right (too snug in the holes), and I ended up using my originals. I wish I could be certain, but it's been 8 years.

Here's a picture of one of the originals and a link to the replacement that appears to match.

Perhaps someone else will verify.

Re: Headlight Spring Orientation

I think you are correct, I bought a differant style (square ones off of the help rack) and I've had trouble with them since I've installed them, the spring was a PITA to install. thanks for the link, as least I know what to buy this time
