1986 Chevy 350 TBI swap questions

I pulled a 350 from a 91 Silverado thinking it was a 91 350 but it must have been swapped out some time. The block # is 10054727 from Canada. I grabbed the computer and harness but not sure if I want to swap to carb. Did 1986 have tbi? Or did somebody put TBI on it? If anybody has part numbers I can use as a reference for the swap. Such as carb and intake, that would be awesome. The engine will be going into a 57 Chevy truck.

Re: 1986 Chevy 350 TBI swap questions

Most likely what happened is the original 91 350 blew up. He had an 86 short block and then took the heads, intake, tbi, etc. Off of the blown 91 engine and installed all of it onto the 86 block. There's a million different ways to build a small block chevy.
