1985 3+3, 4x4 Scratchbuilt
Hello. I'm still alive, had open heart surgery last May,and installed some cleaner lines to my heart, 3 to be exact.
Anyway, I'm still building little RC trucks. My latest. A company out of California, called RC4WD makes a 70"s Blazer that makes a great platform to cut up.. I used 2 on this build. Its bigger then my other bodies, as you can see in the 1st picture. I also wanted an 80"s square, so I had to redo the whole front clip A video with the sound of power LOL http://https://youtu.be/iq7PnfulEkQ Working on a Burb also... and a smaller 3+3 for someone else. hey Jeffro, long time no hear!
OHS? wow, that's a big one. good to hear your doin' alright though as usual, another stellar job! how about a mud test run?...lol. love the sound of that big block, cool vid. i think this one is by far my fav of all your trucks....but then i may be biased...lol oh, and what are the chances of a green paint job? according to my truck you nailed it on the body, even the cowl hood |

Thank you KShortell
Hi dieseldawg, its been awhile, and its great to hear from you again. I was hoping I might see you on here. Tell you what, I have more energy and stamina now than I did a year ago.( I'll be 61 in June) Im livin on Bonus time LOL ( I lost my dad when he was 59, so, I made it a little further, so far. ( Would you have any use for some 1/25th models ?) Anyawy: I actually want to do a mud run, just not sure it can pull its fat butt threw it,. lol It weighs 15 pounds which is a lot for an RC truck. I may just give it green, just for you. It will be awhile though, I've got several builds going, actually for someone else, which is unusual for me. I did one for a guy in Michigan last year to match his real mud truck These are on the bench at the moment. So I keep busy at least |

Re: 1985 3+3, 4x4 Scratchbuilt
Jeffro2,
Sweet 6 pack crew cab truck!!! I want to know where you got your body and parts to build that sweet 72 Chevy 4x4 that you built. Did you use a regular 1/24 72 Chevy 4x4 body and adapt it to a RC chassis? Thanks, Doug
