Brothers Headliner
Anyone try the reproduction headliner from Brothers? My factory liner is beat up and the bows are a little rough.

Re: Brothers Headliner
I was not able to find anyone who had when I was trying to decide what to do with mine several years back. I only found one person who had gotten one then returned it with a fairly vague post on it.

Re: Brothers Headliner
Yeah I saw that post. Thanks for the feedback. I am missing a few bows so I don’t think the frp route will work for me.

Re: Brothers Headliner
There is a member who went the FRP route and used aluminum flat bar strips instead of the factory bows. Mine had fabric glued to the factory fiberboard and aluminum strips that I was told were from the sides of a 70's van. It sounds way worse that it was. The problem was the fabric was so heavy the fiberboard was bowed down so far you couldn't see out the back with the rear view mirror.

Re: Brothers Headliner
I ordered and returned the brothers headliner. It has been a long time ago. When I got it, it was a cloth or vinyl headliner that was hung like an old car headliner. It had listings sewed into it and hung on steel rods that you installed. It may be different now,but you really need to check with them. They are a good company and I have bought a lot of stuff from them with no other problems. Hope this helps.
