1969 GMC 1/2 ton

I have a 1969 GMC 6 lugs it don't have a posi rearend in it but I want to put in a posi rearend, so what do I have to do lmk Thanks

I was lucky and had a friend selling a rebuilt 5 lug posi rear for my 70 build that is upcoming , its 6 lug now . I would look on Facebook marketplace to see if you can find one complete . You can always add one but it aint cheap .

Open your phone book and call a shop that will install one for you. Tell them you want a tru-trac installed

Pretty much exactly what I was going to say. First of all, I agree the Tru-Trac is as good as it gets. But mostly, and no offense, if you are asking this question then I think you would do well to leave this to an expert and pay them to do it. The other option is buy a complete posi rear in known to be very condition
