Looking for lowered rear coil springs
I installed a ECE drop kit a few years ago. Used 6 inch dropped coils in back, but it hit the frame. (No C notch)
Looked great, rode horrible. So ECE traded me for a set of 5 inch dropped coils springs and I sent the 6 inch springs back. Now I want to lower the back another 1 1/2 and I am going to c notch the frame. ECE is closed. Does anybody know where to get 6 inch , or lower , coil springs? |

Re: Looking for lowered rear coil springs
Have you considered using some lowering blocks to get the extra 1 1/2"?

Re: Looking for lowered rear coil springs
I don't believe anyone makes a 6" rear spring for burbs. I was sent the wrong springs originally from cpp, they were 5" truck springs and rode terrible. I contacted cpp and they sent me 4.5" HD springs and it rides great now. If I wanted to go lower I'd do blocks

Re: Looking for lowered rear coil springs
If you're running 15 inch wheels you need to watch the scrub line with blocks. I think with inch and a half though you might just make it inside the scrub.
