Steering column parts

I am currently trying to rebuild my column from my 70 C10. Its a 3 OTT and I was able to find some of the parts online but I can not find these two. One is the backup lights switch and the other is like a plastic bushing with a black rubber bushing around the outside of the plastic. I'm not sure what to call it. I have been unable to find either for sale online. Any chance someone here knows where to buy these? Thanks!

Re: Steering column parts

Also I assume the reverse lights switch is bad. It looks beat up pretty bad but it may still be good. Not sure what a good one should look like. Also my truck hasn't run in over 20 years so I didnt get to ops check them before removal.

Thanks. It looks a little different in the diagram bit I went ahead and bought it anyway. Only 14 dollars so its worth a try. Now just need to find the other part.

Re: Steering column parts

There are a couple people on the board who rebuild columns. Maybe if you do a search on the this page through google. You might find one of them and determine the terminology and possible a source.

Re: Steering column parts

I ended up sourcing them from a restoration shop that specializes in our year model trucks. They are semi local to me and a great help. Thanks again.

No problem, glad you found some. They can be pretty hard to find.
