header clearance issue
working on my 68 c10, just put some flow tech headers on my 350 and the headers hitting the lower A-arm nut towards the rear on the drivers side. The engine mounts are from western chassis, tubular mounts mounted in the forward position. Looks like i could move the mounts to the rear set of holes and it would no longer hit. The cab is not on right now and was wondering if anyone has used these mounts with headers and had this problem and if i move the mounts to the rearward position will the hei hit the firewall

Re: header clearance issue
Use a ball peen hammer and you can "customize" the header tube to fit.
