BBC front spring

I'm looking to order new front spring for my '67 to get ready to drop my 454 in it. What size, weight wise, should I be looking to get?

Re: BBC front spring

Factory big block 1/2 ton trucks came with stock 3/4 ton front springs to carry the extra weight. I cut 1/2 coil off of new stock 3/4's to go with the 2-1/2" drop spindles on my 70 GMC, came out perfect.

What kind of stance did you end up with? I've got drop spindles and springs up front with BBC but they are a bit too soft for the weight.

Thanks,

Re: BBC front spring

Coil length and diameter are the same. The only difference is the diameter of the coil itself
