Help with torque specs
I finally got everything painted and all new parts for a complete front axle rebuild. I cant find the torque values for the attached pictures in my manual, probably because I am unsure of the exact name used. If I am reading it right the brake shield that attaches to the knuckle should be torqued to 120lbs? That seems like an alot for those little bolts. Also the what I believe is called the spindle nut? Can anyone confirm the torque values for these please. I dont wanna ride the lighting and hope for the best after all the work. Thank you.

Re: Help with torque specs
Are u it does not say inch pounds? And for small bolts like that usually i just tighten then up. You can also google the size of the fastener for a standard torque chart depending on grade 5 or 8

Re: Help with torque specs
the 6 spindle bolts 40 lbs. The larger wheel bearing nuts, first one gets snuggged down tight while spinning the hub, then back it off and turn it by hand until it stops. then line up the washer, then you can torque the outer nut to 100lbs
