Most reliable company to order parts from?

Preparing to order parts and trying to get some advise on who to order from? Who has the best customer service and is most reliable for timely shipping?

There is a place in the Carolinas , cant think of the name but if you do FaceBook you can find them . I know the owners , good guys . Look up LowLion , that is Matts truck , one of the owners . Southern Kentucky Classics is my go to guys , grat prices and customer service , and the build trucks so they know what works , they are also on Fbook . Nsane Hotrods in Tennessee , Dewayne is also a great guy , know him too . Lots of options on our side of the country . If you were in Ga I could give you a guy that gives killer deals on anything from Auto Metal Direct .

The vendors on this page stand behind their merchandise.
I’ve used The Car and Truck Shop, and Classic Industries with good results. I used to use LMC years ago, but have not lately, mainly due to their shipping charges.

It kind of depends on what type of parts you're ordering - body panels, engine parts, suspension parts, etc.

I have nothing against the vendors on site here , I have used them too , still do if its something only they offer but he will save on shipping by using those closer to him .

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I use most all of them, but have had real good luck with Classic Muscle. They are connected to the chevy dealership.

Re: Most reliable company to order parts from?

Back in the day (15 years ago) I used Bill Athey (member here) for 55-59 stuff and he was great to work with. Lately I’ve used Mel (classic heartbeat) a good bit as well just this past week GMC paul. I’m very happy with both of these vendors. I trust the parts they sell. I’ve used classic parts of America and lmc a little bit over the years and they both are a crap shoot at best. Not a fan

Re: Most reliable company to order parts from?

Right now looking at ordering suspension parts and disk brake conversion kits. Just don’t want to have to wait weeks on end for the parts and I’ve heard a few companies are taking forever to ship right now.

X2, folks on here spoke highly of them. I contacted them multiple times just wanting a good old phone order. Cant do it they told me.

I took the plunge, and was pleasantly surprised. Got all the way across the states in little less than 3 days.

Parts as promised, packaged well. Prices are better than freakin NAPA!

Re: Most reliable company to order parts from?

For what it's worth, because LMC has a good web site and easy to find everything I need, I ordered from them last week. I hadn't read all the reviews here.

The order is still in "processing". Not sure what will happen with this, but my credit card was charged already. Every part showed as "in stock".

Re: Most reliable company to order parts from?

X2 on - depends what u need. Most vendors get there parts from just a few manufacturers. There r exceptions of course. I've found it's best to go with a vendor that specializes in a particular type of part. They know who makes the best item, or produce the part themselves, therefore the quality goes up in most cases. Even rock auto sells the same carpet found from most vendors, and at a whole lot less $. So just do the research, besides, that's half the fun !

Amazon if you can find the part.

I know they have been a life saver for my BMW.
