Where do these screws go?
I have 2 extra parking lens screws in my fairly well organized baby food jars from when I took my 72 truck apart, but I had 10 of the screws in the jar marked "P.Light Lens".
I only took one truck apart...do these get used somewhere else? My daughter was the baby eating babyfood at the time and now here daughter is past babyfood...tells you how long ago I started this project! Maybe they were loose in the ashtray...my best guess.

Re: Where do these screws go?
Front directional lights, tail lights, backup lights, cargo light all take similar screws some are different lengths though.

Re: Where do these screws go?
The rear lenses take a straight threaded machine screw whereas the front parking/driving lights have these shoulder'd machine screws.
Cargo lights use something similar, but they are much shorter.

Re: Where do these screws go?
I believe all the lens screws including the tail lights use a shoulder screw so you do not over tighten them and break the lens.

Re: Where do these screws go?
These are tail & reverse lens screws. Perhaps some had a shaft like the park lens, but to-date I've never seen them.

Re: Where do these screws go?
All of the old rear lens that I have acquired (two sets) have the straight machine screws that 71Chevyshortbed402 posted.
So, I have 2 extra shouldered screws that are used in the parking lens unless they are used somewhere else...small mystery.

Re: Where do these screws go?
they come from the same truck? I suppose the housing on an elect. component could have used those screws, but that seems a stretch - I only know they're for park lens.

Re: Where do these screws go?
Those look a lot like the screws for cab lights. But then you'd have 5, not 2.
