Turn signal Madness

A while ago I changed the bulb and messed up the pigtail on my 1969 gmc passenger side parklight so it would never come on when the lights were on but the turn signal function still worked. I recently bought a used pigtail to swap it out so all of my running lights will work at night. Now the turn signals are having issues.
Both turn signals will work with the headlights off.
When the lights are on I get the constant green indicator in the dash that happens when a bulb is bad.
Both parklights are on when the headlights are on but only the drivers side turn signal functions.
The lights seems a little brighter the usually could it possibly be stuck on and what would cause this.
I left the turn sgnial on and as soon as I unplug the pigtail I can hear the turn signals start to click.
The hazards also do not work unless the headlights are off.
I’m not sure what’s happening here. Any ideas
Thanks.
