V.A. Compressor mounting bracket

Anyone have This V.A. Compressor mounting bracket installed pics? In the photo
It looks like the compressor might as well be mounted on the passenger fender!
I can see it has adjustment slot but I know compressor has to be mounted within 90 degrees or something.plus it looks like it has a 47 foot long belt.i am probably over thinking this but a pic would help.also i have no head bolt holes.thx dan

Re: V.A. Compressor mounting bracket

When I bought my crate engine, I also bought the VA serpentine system with my AC unit...

Here is the list of brackets on the VA website...

Re: V.A. Compressor mounting bracket

Mine has the stock alternator setup and a VA compressor bracket. My power steering also has its own dedicated belt running off a triple groove crank pulley. That picture you posted has a funky belt layout. It looks like one of them runs from crank to power steering but it only goes across the top never completing a circle, and then I don't get that big ol' long one just grazing the power steering pulley on its way to the alternator. ( Im sure it's not how it appears but It looks like a mess)

Re: V.A. Compressor mounting bracket

Here is the other side. The one in the middle runs the compressor.
