60 deluxe heater blower motor
My shop manual actually says “remove the screws and carefully remove” Does it work this way for everybody else? Removed the screws and it wasnt moving. Found some bracket attached that had a nut accessible from inside the cab. Removed it. Heater motor drops down but before you can get the fan to clear the housing it hits the inner fender. Fought with it, cussed at it, but had to give up and call it a night.....

Re: 60 deluxe heater blower motor
I wonder if you have to remove the heater core housing on a 60 to get that out of there?

Re: 60 deluxe heater blower motor
What I ended up doing was taking the one bolt out of the inner fender. Then pryed the lower inner fender out a little with a broom handle. That’s not what the shop manual said to do but their way wasn’t working.

Yea I reached in behind the tire. Should have looked for options the other night. By taking that bolt out it was pretty easy.
