Front Hood Hinges

Has anyone done the front hood hinge thing ? Are there any kits available ? I saw one on TV the other day... looked really cool.

I don't know about any kits but somebody on here did one.Try a search.I think he used late 80's oldsmobile hinges from a junkyard.

I would also liketo know the specs on this mod. I think it would look badass on a truck. I would like to see a complete tutorial with pitcures and how to . maybe we can sweet talk lotik and others that have done this to show us how.

I saw a 67 with a tilt hood at the turkey run in Daytona.It looked like it would be easier to work on the engine.The rear hinges always seem to be in the way of what I want to reach.The radiator and drive accesories might be a little harder to reach.
