I met DPowers this week

Hello

I like to thank DPowers For letting me come to his house and pick up parts on my way back to Florida from Ohio for my 1965 Chevy C-10. The cost of shipping would have been too much to make it worth while. I was wondering has anyone else made a journey to pick up parts from members house?

Nice to put a face with a name

Thanks again For taking time out of your day.

Re: I met DPowers this week

I met 52 Gimmy (Mike) last November. Same reason as you...picked up some parts (bumpers) that neither of us wanted to ship...so my wife and I took the 4 hour drive up to Myrtle Beach. Mike ended up being from near where my wife was from in upstate NY and knew and raced against my wife's Uncle! We talked to him for a while...super nice guy!

But man let me tell you DPowers is 1 hell of a cool guy and very helpful without him some of the things i needed would have been very hard to get and costly both things i could not deal with LOL but DPowers always offers up a helping hand and or info..
