Another question about engine perches
Been reading through the past posts and google i ran into contradicting pieces of information. Going from a l6 to a big block Chevy in a 1968 C10 (2 wheel drive). What are the correct holes for the perches for a big block Chevy. Also is there difference between factory perches and perches from ccp. I know this has been asked a lot.

Re: Another question about engine perches
Reading a post from boog. He describes the forward holes are for a v8. But I read that the big block is set back farther in the engine bay.

Re: Another question about engine perches
The big block engine stands still bolt into the front holes. It is the stands that set the engine back about 1-3/4''. It will also move the transmission back the same. From the bell housing to the center of the engine mounts, big block and small block are the same at 16''. So you can bolt a small block on the big block stands and use the long water pump and a big block shroud without going with electric fans.

Re: Another question about engine perches
Just curious, but what's the displacement of the L6 you're replacing, 250 or 292?
