Installing chrome strip under rear glass on 72 C-10 (not equipped originally)

I would like to install the chrome strip under the rear window of a 72 C-10 that was not equipped originally.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jim

1. Order chrome strip.
2. Order Clips.
3. Order pop rivets to install clips.
4. Install chrome strip.

If you haven't done anything like that before, get some help from a Body shop or a friend to help.
You can use either the screw in stud, or Pop Rivet stud if you dont have the original studs on the Cab.

Astro-Balls, Lock Dock,

Thanks for the quick replies and the great information! My son will be able to install the strip on his truck with the aid of the information!

No problem.

There are a couple of pictures of the trim install on my Red/White '71 in this thread.

Mine already had the studs on it though.

Post up your install in this thread with some pictures if you can.
