In need of a Water pump pulley

My son is resurrecting a 58 GMC Panel Truck. Looking for a water pump pulley for a 270. I think the early 235 water pump pulley will work too.
Can anyone help or give a lead?

Thanks

Re: In need of a Water pump pulley

I'm another one who never throws a good pulley away but anything I'd have is stuck in the back of a shed right now as I haven't torn much down in the past 20 years.

Re: In need of a Water pump pulley

I am not sure if my son has dimensions on the pulley. The information he was working from indicated the pulley was pressed on. He needed his water pump rebuilt and tried to remove the pulley. Perhaps someone welded/brazed it on. He damaged the pulley beyond repair and is now looking for another one. From what I have found the water pump may be the same as the 248 and the 270 and perhaps the 302.

If I get dimensions from him I will post them. I appreciate the help!

Re: In need of a Water pump pulley

Mick53 and Mr48Chev,

I have some photos of the pulley I am looking for:
Belt drive outer diameter 4-7/8"
Water pump pulley outer diameter- 3-1/8" approximate
Pulley back spacing- 2-1/4"
Belt width- 3/8"

I appreciate any help locating a pulley.
