Air cleaner assistance
Hey everyone so I was finally able to find an air cleaner set up and was having some trouble getting things to fit properly. I was able to get a spacer for my 250 off of here and found what I was told was an air cleaner for my set up. The air cleaner seems to be just a tad bit bigger than the top of the spacer so it seems to fall down onto it. Is there anyway to get it to sit snug or would this cleaner not be the correct one? I was able to buy the bracket I'm missing for the carb to air cleaner stud so I've got that here as well. Oh please ignore the old tiny spacer set up from the tiny air cleaner that I was running.

I will see if I can remember to check the air cleaner on my '67 and see what it measures in the morning. LockDoc

OK, Still enough light so I went ahead and went out and checked it. Air cleaner hole measures 2 9/16" and the top of the carb measures 2 5/8" This is a pretty original truck. LockDoc

Re: Air cleaner assistance
Rock Auto is showing 2-5/8 for the air cleaner gasket for either a 230 or 250 Fel-Pro 5198
The same thing for my 68 292.
