Question Led Lights Red

Has anyone seen the LED's that are red when lite so that you can use the clear tail light lens? I have seen all of the ones that have the clear lites, but none with red lights when lit. How about it anyone? I could probably use the same thing as now, but it would be a lot nicer if I could find the red LED's.

I installed a red insert over the bulb area in the housing to have a red tent. I don't now if the red LED's would be enough, what do you all think? Would they have enough red glow when lit to show past the clear lens. The local cop's probably want like them either since they want have the red tent to them except when stopping.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

auto zone and advance auto seel red led bulbs they work great i had a pair or you can go to a truck stop and get light bulb covers they are only about 2.00 the bulbs are about 7.50 or if you are rich you can go to early classics and buy the led pad that they make for under your clear lights they run about 180.00

oh yeah, i had the autozone ones and they werent nearly bright enough and the bulb covers fade really quick...i think it'd be better to save and get the early classic ones (designed by reumster)...i have these now and they are really nice

Question Red LED's

I have seen those, but I want the LED's to be red when I step on the brakes are have my parking lights on, without the red lens. I don't want to use the red lenses.
Does anybody know if they make them? I want the LED's to light up red. Hope this makes since.

The ones in that link are red leds.
you can also get some for 100 bucks through Jegs...also red.
White and blue LEDs are the most expensive to make, so you can be sure that you'll never find them inside a red cover.

This is what they are talking about. These would work just fine under your clear lens-

I know they were working on sidemarkers and turn signals for our trucks, and if I could, I would get total LED's: frt turnsignals, 4 sidemarkers, tail lamps, and reverse lamps. But they will probably never make them for GMC

Early Classic

Does anyone know if the Early Classic LED's come with lense covers or do we just use the stock red ones (white for back up)?
