Cut harness
I picked up a LS motor teams for a swap on my 68 burban but the wiring harness that goes into the firewall was cut am I still able to use it?

2000 chevy truck my phone won't let me attach pix for some reason harness was cut on right side of steering in engine compartment

It still depends on which wires were cut. The ecm is located where you are describing. If they are a lot of pinks that are cut there you ok. Really need to trace wires from each sensor connector back to ecm, if they are intact you are good. The rest are usually spliced to make a standalone anyway.

The only LS truck EFI harness that goes through the firewall is from the TACC module (if applicable). All the EFi wires are attached to the bottom of the fuse panel and a few other connectors that connect to the under hood chassis. Can you post pics?
