I found long tube Headers that fit!

I stumbled across these on Speedway Motors. They’re made for sbc engines mounted in an early Ford chassis, but as I looked them over I thought they just had to fit the AD frame and I was right! I was worried about the steering shaft but it clears with ease on my trial fit. They sell them ceramic coated or raw steel. You can see them here:

Slick. Those look to be a real problem solver.

Re: I found long tube Headers that fit!

I mostly lurk here trying to soak up and glean as much knowledge as I can. I hope to be able to contribute in the future.I have a '54 GMC with a Chassis Engineering front suspension. I still have a long way to completion. I'm in the middle of relocating to a new state so the pickup is on hold for now. However, this is good news, as I really didn't want to use stock exhaust manifolds.
Mobileortho, if these work, you're my hero.

I was reading through the reviews on Speedway, have you noticed a difference in height difference from bank1 to bank2 ? A reviewer or two said the pass side sits about an inch lower to the ground. Just wondering if you noticed it.

I saw that as well. I haven't mounted the passenger side yet as I was more concerned about clearance for the steering shaft. Hoping for some garage time this weekend to see.

I test fitted the passenger side and it appears that is the case. My guess it’s that was to give some extra clearance for the starter? Not sure how a a stock starter does, I’m running a mini and have tons of room.
