c20 ?

What exactly is the difference between a C20 and a K20 ? I recently got a (what i believeis) 1970 chevy c20, it is four wheel drive, does that mean is a K ? I put a pic below, my pride and joy !

Man, I love that truck! Every time I see one with that stance and in that color combo, it makes me want to do it to my 68 even more. Great ride!

I really like your truck, i saw it on ebay fell in love with it. As for your question,
K=4X4
C=2wd

But trucks with the badge of C20 could be 4wd or 2wd.

Kind of confusing, isn't it

Good luck

David

c means it is two wheel drive
k means it is four wheel drive
10 means it is a half ton
20 means it is a 3/4 ton
you have a k20

Stick around for a while, lots to learn on these wonderfull rigs.
You can post just about anything, and we'll answer almost any question. The ones we can't answer, we'll argue about quite a bit.

welcome! that is one nice 4x4!

i see yours is a CST/20, CST's could be either 2 or 4 wheel drive. If it did not have the CST option and was the base model, the fender emblem would say C/20, even though it is a K/20. No K's were used in truck emblems in this time period, except for the Blazers, which were all K/5's (2wd or 4wd).
