Rocker box source

Are all the rocker boxes sold by the various vendors from one source? Is there a best one? i am looking to buy all the tin for my Jimmy in one order. I prefer a west coast supplier. GMC Paul's won't sell to Canadians even with a USA shipping address.

Re: Rocker box source

Try Wes at Classic Heartbeat - he’s a board member/vendor and located in WA state. I’ve bought a lot from Wes over the years.

Wes is great and in addition, he is somewhat local. Not sure what the border crossing restrictions are right now, but a trip to Olympia may be worth your while if possible. It was great to talk with him and you can save on shipping which can be expensive on some of the larger parts.

I usually get to Seattle in a non-Covid year 4 or 5 times. I am a big Seahawks fan and I like the place. The border is scheduled to re-open September 21st but I guarantee they add another month. Normally, I order all my parts online and get them sent to Pt. Roberts WA. It's an easy 30 minutes from my shop. A local supplier is now 9 weeks behind on getting me a gas tank.

Re: Rocker box source

I'm biting the bullet and replacing rusted out rocker boxes.

I think I need the following for Driver and Passenger:
- Rocker box
- Rocker end cap
- Rocker box re-enforcement
- Cross Sill

Is there a consensus on best source? I see the same parts at LMC Truck, Brothers, Classic Industries, Classic Heartbeat.

Any input on the best once to use?

Appreciate the input.

Re: Rocker box source

Got mine from GMC Paul's. Tri-Plus made them. Stout and great fit.

Chad.
