3/4 ton wheel differences / question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Just wondering if there is any difference between the original steel 8 lug 3/4 ton weels 2wd VS 4wd?
Is there an offset difference for 4wd?
This would make finding original steel wheels for my 72 3/4 ton 4x4 easier if the 2wd VS 4wd ones were the same.

I have used 97 Ford 16" wheels and painted them white. Look the same, drive the same, easy to get as most tire stores kave stacks of them from people that upgrade to aftermarket wheels.

I am looking to get some newer style 8-lugs for my C20. I have the original steel split rims. Maybe we could trade if you have something newer?

I think they're one and the same. The rear 2wd wheel has to be big enough to fit over the hub same as the front 4wd has to fit over the manual 4x hub. and I think the offset is the same.
