Bed disassembly question

Thought I would ask the question here on how to get the top 2 screws out of the front of the bedside when they are rusted and stuck. I know I can weld a nut onto them,just wanted to see if there was an easier way that I hadn't thought of.

Hammer Impact Driver and maybe some heat from the backside on the threads

I use a #3 Philips tip in a small impact along with some heat. Just go easy with the impact so you don't strip the head.

I agree with the impact, and the heat is really important, even if all you have is a hand held propane torch. Get it as hot as you can and then let it cool for a minute or so before trying it. I usually hit them with some penetrating oil after they cool a little, then the impact driver.
