What's needed for radio head unit install 2011 Silverado?

I'm looking to install a new head unit in my 2011, the factory one has a short and jumps around between aux input and am radio.

What do I need to purchase with a new head unit to retain all of the chimes and noises, etc? Thanks for the help.

I believe the device you need is call a PAC interface. I normally check and look things up thru Crutchfield to see what works or what I need. I may or may not buy from them, which I do at times. Head unit is just depends on what you want out of the system.

Thanks for your reply, I forgot that Crutchfield has info on my problem! I'm gonna get a cheap double din unit off Amazon. I don't need much, just tired of always driving with headphones in.
