67 door fitment question

Restoring a '70. Have an opportunity to obtain some '67 doors locally. I understand there may be an issue with the door handles when used on '68-72's? If so, it this limited to just buying new door handles, or does it snowball into other parts/issues?

I believe you will have to use the '67 exterior handles. The splined portion of the interior door handle relay is shorter on the '67, so you will have to swap that over if you want to stick with the original '70 interior handle.
