TH350 - Performance Automatic?
Hello, helping my dad swap out a Muncie in his Gentleman Jim for a TH350, as it came from the factory. It'll be easier for him to drive an auto these days.
I'm physically close to Performance Automatic in Frederick MD. Anybody have anything positive or negative to say about their Stage 1 TH350? It'll be going behind the original 350 with a mild cam/manifold and headers. Also, these square body trucks had a 9 inch tailshaft, right? |

Re: TH350 - Performance Automatic?
I don't know anything about that transmisson builder but even a stock rebuilt TH350 would probably be OK behind that engine. Especially if your dad drives like suits the truck -- gentleman -- you'll have no problems if it's a quality rebuild.
What I think is cool is that he has a G.J. he's working on and that you're helping him with it. Would he mind if you tossed up a few photos? It would be cool to see. |
