Motorhome radiator?

I pulled a 454 from a motorhome to put in my new project.im wondering if anyone knows if a radiator from an 80s bounder motorhome fits in a GMC 3500?I'd like to use it because it has the oil cooler and trans cooler built into it.

Re: Motorhome radiator?

I would measure the width as being a Chevy I wouldn't be surprised if it worked. Depending on the combo your truck started with. You may need to move a few things around. I put a HD 454/Diesel radiator in a C10 I had 20 years ago. It took a bit to make enough room, and if I had it to do over. I would of grabbed the OG core support.

My C10 had a stock warmed up 350, and the electric fans barely came on at idle. Litterly if I let it idle for 15 minutes after reaching temp. Then it would finally turn the fans on.

The truck had a 454 in it originally.the guy I got it from crashed it and his son took the engine out and put it in his boat.he gave me the original radiator and it looks a little skinnier then the motorhome radiator.ill try it out when I get to that point.im cleaning up the 454 and changing the gaskets before I put it in.
I was just curious if someone might have used one before.

Re: Motorhome radiator?

The dimension you need is width and height.
Compare those.
Wider works easier than height for fitment.
Thickness (number of tubes) usually easy to fit.
