What kind of buddy bucket seats are these?

These just arrived at my house yesterday after buying them through a fellow who shipped them to me. Are these GM for 67-68? If not please let me know what you can tell me about them. The mounting holes line up. BTW I have loaded these photos twice today and each time they start out upright on my computer but then show up crooked when I got to post them. Is there any way to rotate them after they are posted?

They certainly appear to be 67-68's. They've been re-covered at least once, but really nice. Good score.

Are the seats supposed to slide? These do not have any sort of sliding mechanism.

Passenger is stationary but all of the drivers seats I have seen do slide. If yours does not it is possible that someone made a set out of two passenger seats.

I am slowly learning. I think I may be putting these up for sale but I will wait to see what others say about what I have here. I know they will work. But I would like to know exactly what I have. Thanks for your input Dagnabbitt!

Re: What kind of buddy bucket seats are these?

They are still nice seats and if you got a good deal it might still be worth keeping them. Good luck.

Thanks. I had no idea that they made them so the drivers side did not slide. Now I know. But I hear that some folks did have sliders. I wonder if sliding was an option?

Re: What kind of buddy bucket seats are these?

The center bracket looks odd to me like it was either bent over or not correct. I don't think i have ever seen a stationary driver side...

Re: What kind of buddy bucket seats are these?

Could you just buy another bracket that will slide and install it where the non slider is? Darn, my son's 69 seat is jacked, so eventually we will be looking for one. I scour the craiglist ads just in case, but have only seen one, and it is a bit expensive. He has other stuff he wants to do first, but it would be nice to catch a deal on a good seat.

Re: What kind of buddy bucket seats are these?

The previous owner probably removed the drivers side tracks to lower the seat a little.
