at what point do you c- notch

on a 67-72 at what lowering point would you want to notch.in other words if you droped the rear 4inches should you c notch or is there still plenty of room to still haul stuff?what about 5 inch?

you really dont need to c notch it unless you are going to bag it. if you go a drastic drop like 5front and 7 in back you might need one

I think that 6 inches is the starting point for C-notch, but I've heard of a couple people with a 6 inch drop that didn't C-notch. Mine is 4 inch drop, plenty of clearance.

Mine has 6 inch rear drop springs and I hauled a 454 big block and turbo 400 tranny in the bed of it without bottoming out.

As you can see in the picture below, I have plenty of room to spare. Look at the dirt on the bottom of the frame, it is untouched. It has never bottomed out.
