I may have a spare one. I'd have to check and see and also what kind of shape it was in . you would be welcome to it free. If shipping wouldn't kill you on it.

it is helpful for cold weather, but you can’t have the crossover blocked.

As mentioned above, if the intake manifold gaskets have the block off plates installed, then there is no point to put that exhaust valve back in. Plus you would need the thermostatic valve that controls it.

by “thermostatic valve” do you mean the bimetallic coil on the heat riser valve itself, or something else? i thought the coil came with the valve, but maybe you are referring to something else?

also, i think there may be vacuum operated exhaust valves but not sure if those are oem or appropriate for your application.

Re: Exhaust manifold Butterfly on 72 K10 ?? Driver Side

It may not make a difference, but my K20's heat riser valve was on the passenger's side. It was giving trouble many years ago (too long ago for me to remember) and I ended up removing it. Haven't missed it one bit. The truck needs to warm up a little in cold weather, but it did before anyway.

If nobody else has one, i think i have one from my son's 69. I was not hooked up, so not sure if it is complete, but I can send pics if need be.
