Suspension Vendor suggestions

I have had my 72 Blazer torn apart for nearly 7 weeks waiting on two different vendors to deliever a 4 inch lift kit. I am so frustrated.

I first ordered a Skyjacker full leaf kit from 4 Wheel parts. After three weeks with no response they said it will ship out soon. Another week goes by and nothing. I canceleed and went with a tuff country from Suspention Connection online and they said it woudl ship out right away. That was a month ago and now I just get a busy signal when I try to call them.

I am totally frustraed, any suggestions on lifts and vendors?

Re: Suspension Vendor suggestions

With different states having different covid lockdowns some extreme has affected us by lack of being able to get parts in a timely fashion

Like Ece getting bought out by holley would that have happened without a covid lockdown who knows

I found some items at Nappa hard to get as well now too

Re: Suspension Vendor suggestions

It is very common at this point in the Pandemic. Hotchkiss is 7 weeks out on just about everything. Almost every manufacturer has had production slowed down.
Anything coming from overseas is also suffering from the lack of containers (Conex's). Empty containers have stacked up due to the reduced level of ship, rail and truck, traffic that occurred earlier this year. Unfortunately this imbalance isn't getting reduced very quickly.
Container users (think box stores and large retail chains) that are shipping large amounts of full container loads are getting priority over small companies that are only doing partial container loads. And at the front of the line for containers is anything Covid PPE related.

In addition it seems that every auto business I have talked to since March has been very busy. Lots of folks had lots of time and some extra cash so they put it in to their vehicles.

Re: Suspension Vendor suggestions

Everything is on back order. I have been waiting 8-12 weeks for some expensive parts I ordered only to be told another 2-3 week. I am not happy but what can you do?

Re: Suspension Vendor suggestions

A little off track, but I ordered a new compressor and after 3 weeks it was cancelled by the manufacture.

Re: Suspension Vendor suggestions

I have ordered countless items for this and my bronco for the last several months with no issues at all. This is not a pandemic problem this is a lack of customer service. Not even a call back and when I tried to call wanted over 40 minutes es on hold before being disconnected at 4wp.
