I realize I'm probably covering old ground, but I'm fairly new here. How do lowered A-arms compare to lowering spindles/springs as far as ride quality and handling? I'm planning a 3/5 drop for my 85 GMC short bed. Rear will be C-notch and flip kit, but I'm still debating on method for the front. I know the A-arms are more expensive, are they worth it?

dropping it with lower control arms is not as good as spindles. The control arms cups hang lower to get you your drop. I would recommend spindles and springs. or just a 3 inch drop spindle.

Would one handle better than the other, assuming the same tire and shock combination?
