Had some in my 87 when first bought it. Sat too high for me. The brackets had to be modified to fit.

I think the brackets are completely different. My 78 came factory with high back buckets. I never did like them as they put you too high and close to the steering wheel without any adjustment.

With the right brackets they will.
Suburban's are a good source for finding the needed inner brackets needed for the seats.

Re: Blazer Buckets in a Truck

I actually just installed a set of 70s high back blazer buckets in my 86 k10, as long as you have the horse shoe shaped brackets for the inner bolts they will work! Mine actually has more room between the seat and the bottom of the wheel than my bench seat did so im happy.I also got them for 70 bucks so that makes it even better.

Buckets will work. The pickup bucket brackets are different than the Blazers and are rare as a unicorn. I'm putting in a set of buckets this winter. The bench brackets can be modified to work. You'll need two sets. You'll also need the inner mounts. I got mine from a Suburban that was heading to the crusher.

Re: Blazer Buckets in a Truck

Well I'm curious what brackets I have now, not sure if they are blazer or truck brackets. I'll post some pics when I'm back in town. My passenger seat does not fold and the rear brackets mount up on the rear flat portion of the cab, not where the bench seat mounts.
