WTB. 71-72 GMC K2500 or C3500

Looking to buy either a 71 - 72 K2500 4x4 or 71 - 72 C3500. Must be 4 speed. Prefer 350 but will consider 292 or 307. Prefer truck located in New England as I am located in central CT.

It's gonna be tough to find a nice one (without major rust) up here, but they do come up forsale every so often. I've been keeping my eye out for a 71-72 longbed (4x4 or c20), so I've seen a couple here and there over the last couple of months (I've got to sell a couple of cars first before I get serious about buying, but if the right truck at the right price comes up forsale, who knows).

Check http://www.carbuyers.com for CT,NY, and MA forsales. I don't think there are any 4x4 there now, but they do have a couple of 71-72 trucks listed.

There were 4 or 5 71-72's listed in the last couple of months in the http://www.thewantad.com/ but they were only listed for a week or two. Theysell quickly, so you have to act fast if you want to buy. There's a 71 or 72 C20 (2wd) for sale for $2k in this weeks edition. I think there's a 1/2 ton 4x4 listed for $4500 too.

It might be worth the 800-1000 to ship a west coast truck here as the shipping would pay for the rust repairs needed for a New England truck.

Hmmm... looks like there is some interesting stuff forsale up in ME. I wonder if I can buy the print version of Uncle Henry's down here at my local newsstand. Guess I could always subscribe online.

Mine is for sale.

I am in Missouri though. It is a beauty and I have to sell it due to outstanding bills and lack of steady income / employment. Everything is new~! I just started the body work. Here is a before pic e-mail me for more.

http://adcache.collectorcartraderonl...0/65483650.htm

I saw this one. It's in RI and was priced at 7200 a couple of weeks ago now at 6000. Not sure what it's worth, but it looks like a good canidate to take a look at.

Ad says C20, but it might be a K20 (has a plow on it, so I'm assuming).
