Need Step Down Patch panel Help!

My project is stuck as I am repairing Rocker rust on my 72 K5 and the step down panel needs a aptch. MotorCityK5 has them on their site but their supplier cant deliver. I have been waiting a month for it and now having to start over. Does anyone have any idea where to get one or what are you guys doing to patch this area?

Thanks, sent them a message waiting for reply. If they all get them from the same place it may be a problem though

It appears to be just flat 16ga metal with 90* bend? If I knew the measurements I could make one up for you or any of your local hvac shops with metal equipment could

They have always been good at responding within a day for me and many times, same day. With that being said everything is "different" with this virus situation.

Re: Need Step Down Patch panel Help!

I ended up getting the whole panel and will cut it. $250 shipped is steep but the time is worth it to me right now.

It might be easier to out the whole thing in. It just bolts to the cargo floor and spot welds to the cab floor
